"Really, I think you should ask him out." Sirius said absently.

Tonks raised an eyebrow. "Truthfully, I think you should butt out."

"Aw, come on!" Sirius kicked her chair, which she had strategically navigated away from him so she could concentrate on the report she had to hand in the next day. She edged it further away from him.

"But you like him, don't you?"

She shrugged, scribbling. "Doesn't matter. I'm busy, okay?"

"You suck." He muttered sulkily.

"Yeah yeah. Now shut up."

"No. no, I don't think I will. I think I'll shut up when you ask Remus out on a date."

"but he's not even here."

"Who's not even here?" Remus walked in, heading for the coffee mug.

"He's here!" Sirius said in a sing-song voice. Then, he turned to Remus. "Quite frankly Remus, my cousin wants to take you out for dinner, and then have a good shag. Are you keen?"

Tonks was bright red. "You're dead."
