"What is it like to be in true love?" Cole asked.

"I'll tell you when I'm in true love." Alyssa replied, sitting besides him.

"Aren't you and Richard in true love?" Alyssa got up of her seat and sighed.

"He's so full of himself. He was after my family's wealth." Alyssa explained.

"Then why are you with him?" Secretly Cole wished they had broke up.

"I guess…that's because everyone said we were compatible." Alyssa placed her arms on the windowsill. "But he doesn't even understand me. He never did, Cole. We broke up."

Cole nodded. "I understand you, Alyssa."

Alyssa smiled. "And I thought you came from the jungle."

"That doesn't mean that I'm an idiot. Do you take me for one?"

"No, of course not!"

"Good, cause it might be a problem if you did."

"Cole?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks."

"No, thank YOU for sharing your troubles with me." Cole stood up and moved to stand besides her…and tickled her.

Shrieks could be heard into the stillness into the night.

"So did he…" Cole's voice trailed off as Alyssa's face came in view.

"He didn't turn up." Alyssa's voice was sad and she quickly brushed a tear away.

"What's wrong?" Cole asked.

"I waited for him for one hour. One hour. And when I called him, he told me he was on a trip to Paris with my stepmother!" Alyssa shouted.

"Oh My God!" Max exclaimed from behind a tree.

"SHUT UP KID!!!!!!!!" Taylor yelled and promptly pulled him away.

"All I ever want I is to talk to him…and I don't think he even remembers my mother…" Alyssa broke down and cried. "My mother went through so much pain and sufferings to give birth to his only child…and this is how he treats her…" She buried her head in her hands. "I know, I know, I sound like a spoilt brat…But I only want to be with my father."

She whimpered. "I really want to see him again, Cole. I really do…"

"I'm sure he didn't want to go to Paris." Cole assured her, holding her in an embrace.

"I forgave him for having so many flings and flirtations…to find out that he won't even say hi to me on the phone. Everything was going well before the women arrived, Cole."

"I'm sure he didn't mean to do that."

Alyssa lifted up her tear-stained face to look at him.

"Thanks. I'm so sorry I made your shirt wet."

"Hush. Sleep now."

Alyssa nodded, placed her head against Cole's chest and fell asleep in his warm embrace.
