Grandpa's dead. We never saw him after grandma died. He had a heart attack the day after we left. I knew he was going to die, but I didn't know grandma was. I got wind that grandpa was going to die before grandma since I couldn't even sense when she was going to die…
Doesn't that sound awful? I couldn't 'sense' she was going to die…I can't believe how STUPID I sound…
Why didn't I help stop grandpa die if I knew that he was?

I got a letter today. It was from grandpa with no return address. Here's what it said:
Dear Hitomi,
I listened to you that night and it was
a very good thing that I did!
If you didn't both of us would be
hurting… forever.
Hitomi, I know that I'm going to die.
Take care of that pendant Hitomi.
It was important to her you know?
