I Will Remember You, Harry Potter

A story of a lonely man at his enemy's funeral

"We gather here today to remember Harry Potter,"

We weren't exactly the best of friends, but I can't help but feel sad for his death.

"A great man, all in all, sacrificed his life for the Wizarding World,"

He was a Gryffindor, I was Slytherin. He was in the Order, and I was a Death Eater. But none of that really matters, I realize now. We were both students of the same year at Hogwarts, and fellow human beings. That's what matters.

"Harry was my best mate. I was going to be Best Man at his wedding. Hell, we even flew a flying car into the Whomping Willow in our second year,"

I remember that. I hoped that Snape would get them expelled. Times were more carefree back then.

"I was going to marry that man. He was going to be my husband. I loved him ever since I laid eyes on him. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for him. He saved me from a sixteen year old Tom Riddle and a Basilisk in my first year,"

Oh yeah I remember that, that was when Father almost got thrown to the Dementors for giving a student a dark artifact. That was also the year that Harry freed Dobby.

"I couldn't bear carrin' is body bac' to da castle. He, Ron an' Ermione were the only students to ever visit me in me hut. I'll miss dat boy,"

That oaf. I almost want to feel bad for him. He was the first to see that Harry was dead. But then again, you could only get hit by the killing curse so many times.

"AHhh no, no, NO!" "It's okay 'Mione you don't have to say anything if you don't want to,"

Granger. I don't blame her for being hysterical, they were best friends. She was the one he relied on for help in about everything, from transfiguration to charms to potions. But what do I know about losing best friends.

"Please join us in a moment of silence for a fallen hero, Harry Potter."

I know that my father said that Malfoys never cry, but he's dead now. I can't believe I'm even thinking this, but I'll miss him. His cocky grin, his 'king of the world' attitude, even his insults.

I will miss you, Harry Potter
