One-Shot Summary: Bella, Edward and his siblings Alice, Rosalie and Emmett are 7 years old. All of them visit a summercamp where they meet James, Victoria and Laurent. It comes to an argument between Edward and James which leads to James and Edward including his siblings early leave. What happends with Bella after they are gone?
After the arrive of a new girl, Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and his siblings wanted to be her friends. Alice, his little energetic sister, was good at reading people so she knew that Bella and herself would be great friends. Her siblings also knew that you shouldn't bet against her.
Edward saw this as his chance and befriended the girl. His familiy always joked about him and his nonexistend mindreading ability.
He was intrigued with Bella the moment he saw her because no matter what she did he couldn't say what she would do next.
As Bella and the Cullen chidren were playing football one afternoon, three other kids came up to them. Two boys, one with a low blond ponytail and the other one with short dark brown locks, and a girl with wild red hair.
The blond boy went over to the middle of the field and started speaking to the group. "Hey my name is James and this are Victoria and Laurent." He mentioned to the girl and boy next to him. "We wanted to ask if we could play with you."
Edward moved closer to Bella next to him, what didn't went unnoticed by the three, and eyed James. "I don't think that is an good idea."
James smirked lightly "Oh come on. We could make a bet. Who wins gets to play with her.",he pointed to Bella.
The Cullen siblings exchanged a look and shook their heads.
"No way! She won't go anywhere with you so you should back off!"
said Edward while clenching his fists in anger.(So MAYBE he was a little posessive over Bella,so what?)
James chuckled and held his hands up in surrender. "Ok, ok well maybe there is another way..." he trailed of and walked up to Edward and pushed him to the ground. "We can do it this way.", James said smirking.
Edward looked up at him with fury in his eyes before he jumped to his feet and punched James in the face.
Right in that moment an adult came over and took both boys with her to the campleader to call their parents.
At the same day James got picked up by his mother and Edward and his sistersand brother by their parents.
After her friends left, Bella didn't know what to do anymore. She felt lonely without them because she didn't even know anyone else. She jumped little as someone sat next to her on the swings.
Bella looked to the other person and saw green eyes and red hair staring back at her. Victoria smiled shyly, "Hi I'm Victoria but you can call me Vicky. I'm sorry for what James did..." she trailed off.
Bella nodded slightly and gave her a small smile, "It's ok, it wasn't your fault. It's just that I don't know anyone here and Edward and Alice were the only ones I knew."
Vicky looked at Bella and had an idea, "Do you maybe want to be my friend?",she looked to the ground before she continued "Beside James and Laurent I don't know anyone else here either. They are all afraid of James I guess... You don't have to yo-hmpf" She was cut off when Bella hugged her tightly. Vicky returned the hug and smiled slightly.
Bella let go after a couple of seconds and looked at the other girl with a big smile on her face. "You really would be my friend?" she asked. Victoria nodded enthusiastically before replying "Of course I do!"
And with that was created a bond, no one would ever be able to break.
