Lucy Celestial darkness dragon slayer
Lucy watched as the guild continued hovering around Lissana. No one greeted her, no one smiled at her, no one spoke to her, no one wished her a happy birthday.
Lucy ran back home. She reached under her bed and pulled out a box. It was full of the most important things to her in life. Letters to her mother, the gifts given to her by her father throughout those seven years of sleep, extra jewel saving just in case she ever ran into an emergency, and a photo-lacrima with a single picture hanging out of the bottom. It was a photo of the guild… and her…. All smiling broadly together. Lucy remembered this photo and when it was taken like it was yesterday.
*Flashback*
It was Lucy's seventeenth birthday, everyone was doing as they usually did. Mira match making, Elfman yelling about being a man, Natsu and Gray fighting, Gajeel teasing Levvy, Cana and the master drinking.
When Lucy walked it, she was utterly disappointed, thinking the entire guild forgot her birthday. She walked to the bar slowly, bangs blocking her eyes, tears brimming, about to spill. That was until Mira ran to the back and came back with a cake as everyone sang the 'happy birthday song' to her. Honestly she couldn't be happier and she showed it as she thanked everyone over and over again.
Natsu and Happy stalked over to her with a grin and something behind their back and Lucy was already suspicious. "Natsu, Happy what are you hiding?" Lucy asked, a bit nervous. When Natsu and happy were hiding something, it was on a rare occasion that whatever they were hiding wasn't good…. Or safe in the slightest way possible.
"Here Luce!" Natsu said with his signature boyish grin as he placed a photo lacrima in her hands. "We hope you like it!" Added on happy.
Lucy was really, truly happy. She threw her arms around the both of them and pulled them to her. " I am really happy. I love it! And I love all of you too Minna!" She said with a smile as tears of happiness streamed down her face.
"Hey, hey! Why don't we all take a group photo together!?" Suggested Lucy. Everyone seemed pleased at the thought and nodded.
With that she set up the camera and took the photo.
*End Flashback*
Just going through all of those happy memories of the past left Lucy in tears. That was a little before the tenroujima incident, and Lissana showed up a few weeks after.
Finally being reunited with the guild after so long and all, Lucy understood that Lisanna needed and had a right to want attention, but it still hurt that no one really noticed her anymore.
