TITLE: Headlong

RATEING: Pg-13

CHARACTERS: Reno, Rude, Roxas, and Axel.

Disclaimer: Me own nothing.

Summary: Reno, meet Axel. Axel, meet Reno.

AN: I Blame Cath! This is crack, pure and simple. I've just gotten into this fandom(s), so apologies if it's been done a million times before. I actually don't like this that much now that I've written it, but the muses are satisfied. Title taken from a song by Queen.

The blond in the corner of the bar eyed the redhead - his redhead, there were two of them. The one in a rumpled black uniform grinned at the one in the long black coat. The answering grin was equally disturbing.

"Reno. Turk. Eletro-Mag Rod."

"Axel. Organization XIII. Chakram."

"Cool. Nice hair."

"Thanks. You too."

There was a brief moment of silence (from them, the rest of the bar was still talking) while they both drank their more than slightly alcoholic drinks.

"Well this is fun, for a retirement party." Reno's voice was devious. The large South American man in the same, if neater, uniform across the room subtly checked to make sure he still had a few pairs of sunglasses left.

"How to you feel about making this place a little more lively?" Axel fingers twitched as his grin grew even larger.

Roxas and Rude share A Look before leaving their respective niches to retrieve their partners.

"Aw, Rude, things were just getting fun." The stoic man refused to react to his partners whining.

"Roxas."

"Say goodnight Axel."

"Just a second." The pyromaniac leaned forward to whisper in the other man ear.

A leer appeared on the smaller Turk's face. "I've got a chopper. Come on, guys.

"Yeah! I promise I won't blow anything up and/or burn anything down."

The non-redheads exchanged another Look.

"I'm going to regret this..."

Rude obviously agreed with him.

The next morning all of the admittedly few news sources had reports of a helicopter flying out in the middle of nowhere launching fireball at monsters. Cloud was just glad the two whirlwinds had left before Tifa's tavern didn't need to be rebuilt. Again.
