The lights of the three talismans line up once again, signaling the beginning of the End, the Destruction of Reality, the Silence. Everyone has a different name for it, but no matter what they call it, they always fear it.

And with it they have grown to fear me… the Bringer of the End, the Soldier of Death and Rebirth, the Messiah of Silence. I won't say I don't like those epithets, but I can certainly say I am just Sailor Saturn, another Sailor Soldier like my fellow Outer guardians. My awakening brings fear to all.

I am part of the Outer system, just like Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Pluto. But my role is the ultimate destruction of outside threats. Where my fellows have failed, I am to be summoned to end it all. Even though this has always been the law of my existence, all my fellow Sailor Soldiers wish I was never to be called upon.

Uranus has the Space Sword, Neptune has the Deep Aqua Mirror, Pluto has the Garnet Orb. I have the Silence Glaive, the instrument that brings about the end to everything… but what they always leave out is that it also opens the way to a new beginning. Just like the Space Sword slays the darkness to allow light to shine through, just like the Deep Aqua Mirror reflects that which is true and what shall happen, just like the Garnet Orb protects and harbors the power to shift time, so does my Silence Glaive alter reality itself.

Yes, I am not only destruction, I also bring a fresh start with me. I wipe away all mistakes, all pain, all misery. And pave the way for rebirth, for flourishment, for life. But everyone just forgets that second part, it's just the way it works… everyone fears change, no one is ready to face that which is unknown.

I always feel like an uninvited guest, and that is because I know my arrival signifies sorrow for everyone present. I am just carrying out my duty, I didn't ask for this, this is my destiny and I shall carry it out.

I know this causes sorrow, fear and despair. But please keep in mind my promise, after the End a new Beginning I shall bring. You have no guarantee except my assurance. Do not fear, close your eyes and wipe away your tears.

Face the End with hope, for a new life awaits not long after.
