THIS ISN'T GOING TO BE A ONE-SHOT. THIS WILL BE A STORY.
It was a cold night in Ealdor. Everyone was gathered around the home of the healer awaiting for news of the healers baby. Screaming broke the silence.
"Push Hunith push!" said the physician. "One more push and its out!". Hunith pushed with all her might then there was silence. Everyone was waiting. Then finally they heard it the sound of a baby crying. Then they heard "its a beautiful healthy baby boy" said Gauis. Everyone rushed in to congratulate her.
"Thank you Gauis my old friend" said Hunith. "what shall you name him?"said the village crop lady.
" shall be called Merlin."said Hunith, gazing lovingly at her new son.
In the woods three men smiled "Emrys has been born" they said together.
Hunith saw something or someone looking in the window she winced as she got up. She walked outside but it was too late. On the window was a crafted dragon like the one Balinor had made for her. Under-Neath it was a note. She opened it and inside it said...
To my dear Hunith im sorry i had to leave without saying goodbye but Uther was closing in on me and i didn't want you or Merlin to get hurt what a beautiful name by the way Merlin. I hope to see you again my queen. I love you. Love Balinor xoxox
Tears ran down my cheek and hit the floor loudly. I wiped them away as quick as they came. I went back inside but when i saw Merlin i fell to the floor sobbing he looked just like Balinor but younger and without a beard. Gauis rushed over to me while my friend Matthew told everyone to get out. Gauis rocked me like a little girl.
Balinor smiled sadly while watching Hunith from the woods. Good bye Hunith, Goodbye Merlin he said under his breath and ran.
