Melody's Day With Jade 4
The next day, Jade felt more invigorated now that her powers have reformed, but she felt the need to test herself. She sees Melody on the beach with Tanya and the kids.
"Alright, Mom. I'm going to test you to see if your power has fully reformed."
"Are you sure, Mel? You're not fully 100%"
"Neither are you, so let's not get too crazy."
"I agree with Melody," said Chris."
"Ok, here we go."
Jade and Melody fight. A series of offense and defense was shown for a few minutes until Jade found a opening and used her Eclipse Kick, knocking Melody down. Melody was clutching her left side.
"Melody, are you ok?'
"You passed the test, mom. You didn't use your full power, but it's safe to say that you have fully recovered your strength. Now, let's see if you can increase and decrease your staff."
Melody gave Jade her staff. Jade was able to increase the length and decreased at will. Jade was impressed.
"Thank you, Mel. Are you hurt? I'm sorry."
"I'll be ok. How do you feel?"
"Like myself again."
Jade and Melody meditated facing each other. When they were finished...
"Thank you again, Mel."
"Anytime, Mom."
"Ladies, time to eat," said Chris. The family ate, but Jade was more relieved that she was herself again. Melody could feel more better knowing her test was a success. And she was happy to oblige.
