as i was walking through district 12 to the reaping i wondered could i get picked? i looked at my mom katniss and she said "you are NOT going to get picked prim so STOP thinking about it ok" i just nodded shes right everyone in the district who are eligable to go in the games are in there 20 times but if you are a child of a victor your names in there once its unfair to think that my crush cato might be going in and he was named after his uncle cato who was in the games with my parents "hand"i heard someone say. so i gave them my hand the man pricked my finger with a needle and i went to my spot,next to all my friends they looked at me with sad faces like i was going to get picked "hi guys are you ok"?i asked "no prim one of us could get picked!if one of us gets picked what would you do"? my best friend erica asked"i would..."i was cut off by my godmother effie "Happy hunger games the capiol decided no video in honor of the only two victors ever to come out of the hunger games AT THE SAME TIME"everyone claped but me of course this is old news and im their DAUGHTER so i already knew about this Effie decided to say it again and i worded it with her "happy hunger games and may the odds be ever in your favor os ladies first!"she grabed three droped all of them and picked one up "Erica among!" i was shocked she called my best friend i did the only thing i could do to my friend who treated me like a sister "I VOLENETER"i said steping out of the group "what"i heard people gasp "I VOLENETER AS TRIBUTE"! i repeted staring at effie the whole time she looked like she had tears in her eyes "well come on up dear" she said to me looks like little primrose here wants to follow in her mother andfathers footsteps" she said ok now the boys "I VOLENETER" said a vocie in the croud "well normaly we would say the name first but ok come on up"she said i wanted to cry when it was cato and he looked at me with sad eyes ok i thought off to our went on the train to the capitol he looked at me with loving eyes so i just stayed away from him.
