The Call of the dogs

It was a peaceful day for our favorite young dog demon was watching the clouds roll by from a tall tree.
"This boring…" he sighed after his mother died the village said he could no longer stay there so he left and was now currently staying in woods.
"Get down from there half breed!" shouted a man from deeper in the woods.
"Damn it." Inuyasha snarled heatedly he wasn't in the mood for anyone right now, jumping from his perch leaping from tree to tree as the man gave chase from the ground.
This was the third time this month one the demons called the three four war gods were chasing him and it was for the same reason each time he was a half breed. So far he'd been able to avoid them but it was getting harder for him.
As the chase went on a branch Inuyasha lands on breaks sending him falling to the ground with a thud.
"Oh no." Inuyasha said trying to get to his feet but it was too late. A hand grabs him by the neck and slams him against a tree.
"Ha look what I've caught a little half-blood mutt." Jūra sneered as he held Inuyasha by the neck.
"Let me go you over grow house cat!" Inuyasha growled trying to get free from the larger demon.
"Ahh!" Inuyasha groaned as he was hurled to the ground by Jūra. Who was now towering over him leering.
"Any last words runt?" Jūra taunted as he got ready to kill the terrified looking Inuyasha.
Just as Inuyasha is about to be blown away by Jūra's thunder cannon somebody leaps if front of him and blocks it with his blade.
"Who the hell are you to meld in the affairs of a god!" snarled the angry tiger looking at the interloper.
"Name's Toketsu Inu and as for a god all I see is cat who's so picking on a puppy." He said pointing his blade toward Jūra.
Toketsu Inu had long black hair with ears on top of his head like Inuyasha's. He wore long black jacket with blue flames around the sleeves and lower half of it. His skin was tan and he had green eyes.
"What! I'll kill both of you filthy mutts!" Jūra bellowed ferociously as the both readied for battle as Toketsu Inu pushed Inuyasha behind him.
"Well then let's see how sharp kitty claws are." Toketsu Inu said enticing Jūra to fight but before a loud roar rang from the skies.
"Rrrrr we'll settle this next time!" said tiger demon leaving the two dog demons alone.
"Coward, well are you okay Inuyasha?" The larger dog demon asked putting his blade back in its sheath much to Inuyasha's shock.
"Who are you and how do you know my name!?" Inuyasha questioned wondering why this stranger knew who he was as he got up from the ground.
"Of course I know who you are kid I'll your brother." Toketsu Inu said smiling down at his shocked expression.
"No you're not my brother my brother's a jerk who hates my guts." The young hanyo stated to him.
"Granted he can be an ass at time but he's always been that way." Toketsu said bending down and rubbing Inuyasha's head.
This made laugh for the first time since his mother died. Then just as soon this happy moment faded thinking about his mother.
"Hay what's wrong Inuyasha?" Toketsu Inu asked concerned about Inuyasha's sudden mood change.
"My mother died I'm a while back I'm fine." Inuyasha said not wanting to look weak.
"Well how about you travel with me then, I mean if you want too." Toketsu offered to his younger brother.
Inuyasha look at Toketsu Inu face for any traces of deceit but found none. Inuyasha jumps into his arms nodding yes as his older brother laugh at his reaction hugging him back.
