Lantis leaned over the sleeping Eagle, kissing his forehead.

 'Lantis…is that you?' Eagle spoke…but with out words.

"Yes, Guru Clef said you were healing…are you feeling better?"

'Yes…why…how…'

"Can I hear you?" Lantis guessed, "I am not quiet sure…" he smiled, and brushed the bangs from Eagles closed eyes.

". What…happened to Hikaru?" He ask urgently

"Relax, she's fine. She and the others went back to their world" Lantis sighed.

"Get better soon…please?" he whispered

'I'll try…'

That had been nearly three weeks ago, Lantis sighed, and hung his head in his hands. Primera landed on his shoulder "Poor Lantis…what's wrong?"

"Nothing."  His voice was thick. The fairy fluttered before him, and touched the tears.

"This is the saddest nothing I've ever seen…" she sighed, and landed in his offered hand "You miss her…don't you?" she sighed, she would never have that kind of love he felt for eagle or Hikaru from him.

"Yes."

            A commotion outside his door startled him, Primera waved her hands, and his face cleared up, showing that he had never cried.

"LANTIS!!" the door shook under pounding fists

"What is it?" he said as he pulled the door open, sprawled out as the form of ascot.

"Mummphem" he said into the floor,

"Huh?" Lantis picked him up.

"They're back!!"

"Who?"

"Arg! You thickheaded block! UMI!!! FUU AND HIKARU!!!" Ascot, ran back out, sliding down the hall, Lantis couldn't help but to laugh at him, as he slowly made his way to see eagle.

  He wasn't surprised when he found Hikaru there. He smiled she always came here first.

"Hik-." he stopped as the girl wrapped her arms around his stomach throwing her-self into a hug. Startled, he timidly put a hand on her back.

"…Lantis" she sobbed from the folds of his clothes. Tears soaked his silk black shirt.

"What is it?" kneeling, he forced her to look at him, but to his surprise she wore the happiest smile, and her eyes gleamed. He raised his eyebrows, as she pulled him over to the bed.

"Hikaru…what is it?"

"It's me…I made her cry." Eagles eyes were closed…yet, his mouth moved. He peeked open a signal eye.

"Eagle!" Lantis leaned down and sat on the bed. His hand still entwined with Hikaru, she smiled at the wiping with her free hand away, the tears, before reaching down and grabbing eagles, she held them both to her chest. With a bit of effort, eagle looked at her quizzically. Lantis eyes glanced at eagle, then back to her.

"I love you…both so much" she whispered entwining there hands together.

"But, you to love each other more, and I won't be selfish." She let go of the boy's hands, running out of the room. Lantis didn't let go of Eagles as they dropped.

"Lantis! You have to get her!" Eagle struggled to sit up; Lantis pushed him back down, and stood, leaning over to kiss his head "don't over do it."

He strode quickly out of the door.

Hikaru didn't know where she was going, just that she needed to run. She opened a door and found a garden. She silently cursed her feet, this was the place where she had fist spoken with Lantis. She threw herself down on the fountains edge. Silent sobs shook her shoulders. She jumped when she felt strong arms twist her gently around and pull her to a chest.

"Lantis…" she clutched at his chest.

 "Come on…Eagle wants to see you" she shook her head; he smiled, and knelt before her again.

"We…want to see you. Together." She blinked…and nodded slowly, taking his hand still not trusting her voice.

  "There you are." Eagle smiled from where he lay reaching his hand out to her. She took it, and he pulled her to his chest, hugging her tightly, kissing the top of her head.

"We love you to Hikaru."
