Summary: The outer senshi cannot allow for Saturn to awaken again.
We must protect this land where our future ruler, Neo Queen Serenity was born. We must protect this land which will become the new Silver Millennium. That is our duty.
Silence.
It was what they were trying to prevent from taking over this world as it had done in the past; they had to stop the ultimate silence which was rapidly approaching this planet where evil was corroding. They had to prevent the awakening of the messiah, prevent the awakening of one of them, of the senshi of silence, Sailor Saturn.
Somehow, they had to stop it all from occurring or it would the end of mankind, the end of the earth. Being the outer guardians of the sol system, they would not allow this to happen again – to allow it to happen once in the past Silver Millennium was enough; it was once too much especially due to the fact that it had been a complete accident. Yes, that was correct; the outer guardians had summoned the senshi of silence on accident in the past life.
They had strict orders that they had disobeyed, they had been assigned positions they were not to have abandoned – the talismans were never to meet, they were never suppose to have been brought together. Those were their orders; it was the reason why they could not assemble such as the others guardians because their meeting brought on a dire consequence, especially in a time of destruction; a time the talismans were to never have come into contact with one another.
But watching the epic battle unfold in their precious Moon Kingdom, watching their beloved kingdom fall brought them together, brought the talismans together in a time of destruction. They reacted to one another's presence, summoning forth the senshi of silence, of death and revolution – Sailor Saturn, a senshi who shall never receive a warm welcoming. Her presence only meant one thing:
Complete and utter obliteration.
It was Saturn who brought the end of their kingdom with the drop of her glaive. Just as it was the duty of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto to protect the galaxy, it was Saturn's to destroy it upon being summoned. Otherwise, she would not have been summoned in the first place. She was only brought out to the light when a clean slate was needed, when it was the end.
That was why they had to stop it from occurring this time around, that was why they had to bring an end to Tomoe Hotaru. Granted, she was just a child, but it was not the child that they feared, it was her alter ego; it was the dormant Saturn sleeping within her, waiting for her time to come once more – the time to drop the glaive again on humanity.
They would not make the same accident twice.
