ATTENTION EVERYONE! I'll be briefly breaking my Hiatus and having a Halloween contest. I'll be posting Halloween themed stories, horror themed, or one's that end with a cliff-hanger! The story that gets the most reviews, will be the one I update on Halloween!(and maybe a few other surprises. heh. heh.)

Steven yawned as he closed his eyes...and drifted off to sleep...when he opened his eyes...he was THERE.
It had been over a week since that chilling vision of Lapis...which meant a week of him trying to find her again...he had some success. He figured out how to get into this strange 'in-between' world that seemed to connect all dreams...but none of them were lapis's dream...
Steven took a deep breath...and dived into another dream...

Steven bumbled around what appeared to be a playground. Hmmm...so far no Lapis...but she could interrupt this dream at any moment like she did mine...I'll stick around a little longer just to be sure...
It's then he sees a building and walks to it. Steven reads the sign on the front. 'School?'...oh, right...that's the place Connie said she went to learn!...hmmm...
Thinks Steven to himself as he walks inside. He walks around for a bit. Huh, so far I'm not seeing what the big deal is...or is that just because this is a dream? Huh, I wonder-
And then Steven heard something that made his blood freeze...crying! And not just any crying- "CONNIE!" Shouts Steven as he runs-

"But I'm telling you! The Gems are awesome!" Shouts Connie wearing a dunce cap to a jeering crowd of students.
"Yeah right! They can't be that great...especially since they hang out with a lame-o like you!" One kid mocked.
Connie cried at that stinging remark. "But I-
"Besides, why should we listen to you anyway!? Your not even wearing anything!" Connie gasped and looked down...sure enough, she was naked!
Connie covered herself and blubbered as her classmates mocking became worse-
HEY! LEAVE HER ALONE!
Connie looks up just in time to see Steven charge into the room, throw his shield at the classmates...causing them to turn to dust?
Dust!? How...wait...OH! This is a dream! Realizes Connie. She then excitedly runs toward Steven, seemingly no longer ashamed of her nudity.
Steven turned scarlet at the sight of Connie. "Uh, Connie. What are you-
smeck
CONNIE KISSED HIM FULL ON THE MOUTH! Steven's mind shut down...even more so as Connie kept talking. Connie giggles perversely. "Ever since I found that 'Kama Sutra' book hidden in my moms office...dreams with you have been the highlight of my day..." She admitted serenely.
Steven blanched. "Uh...Connie?...I'm...real." He admitted awkwardly. Connie looks st him confused...then memories come kicking back in...he'd explained this to her the other day...about Lapis...and jumping into dreams...
Connie turned scarlet as she covered herself... "ANNNNND were back to the Nightmare..."

AN: I know it says "in-progress" but really I just don't like boxing myself into a corner. For now this is more of a one-shot that I might continue one day...but probably won't.
