I can't believe it. Of course it would happen to me. Why? Why me? Of course I would be the one to fall in love with a human. Not just fall in love but be soulmates with. James was right. I think that's the worst part, that my sappy, optimistic cousin was right. Now I have to tell him. Oh joy. I walked into the room and prepared myself to tell the story that makes absoulutly no sense. I just have to remeber my Mary- Lynette. Just like that, I feel the tension leave my body.

I was thinking about when Ash found out about Poppy and I. I remember telling him how he will find someone to love and it would hurt, a lot. He told me how I was a lousy prophet and that would never happen. Well guess who came to visit me today? My good old buddy Ash of course! And what did I hear? That he found his soulmate, and she's a human.
"Don't even say it." Ash said as soon as he was done with his story.
"Why what do you mean by that?" I said innocently, "I am very happy for you."
"Oh you know what I mean" He said glaring at me with ever changing eyes, "I tell you I'm in love with a human! But remember, I'm still a vampire and can read your thoughts."
I couldn't hide the smirk on my face any more.
"I was only remembering a time where you said you don't need anyone is all"
"Yea well people change and I did ok?" he said
"Then I am proud of you and wish you the best of luck with her." I said while waiting for the right moment to say what I've wanted to say to him this whole time.
"Well, thanks, I guess" He said akwardly
"Ok well I only have one more thing to say I CALLED IT!"
