A/N: I wrote this as a birthday present for my friend, and posted it on tumblr, so I thought I'd post it on here, please review! :D
Santana walked up the path to her best friend's house eagerly, while being watched by an overweight cat in the window. She rung the doorbell and was greeted by a tall blonde who embraced her in a tight hug.
"Hi san! Did you bring the movie?"
"Hey, Britt, yeah I did."
They approached the stairs and went up as Santana waved to Brittany's mom. As they arrived in Brittany's room, Santana pulled the ring out of her small bag, she didn't need a big one, she had plenty of clothes at Brittany's.
"Do we have to watch that film, it looks scary" Brittany said in a small voice
"Britt, I'll keep you safe, please can we watch it?"
"Okay San."
They changed into their pyjamas, Brittany into Santana's 'Lebanese' t-shirt and rubber duck pants, and Santana into a vest top and short shorts. Santana put on the DVD as Brittany got under the covers, joined by Santana, cuddling into her.
As the film progressed, Brittany got increasingly scared, cuddling closer and closer to Santana in fear, Santana chuckling lightly and holding Brittany to make her feel safe.
As Tamara started crawling out of the TV, Brittany squealed and hid her face in the crook between Santana's neck and shoulder.
"She's gonna crawl out of my TV and get me, isn't she, San?" Brittany mumbled into Santana's shoulder.
"She won't be able to get to you, I'll go all Lima Heights on her and keep you safe, don't worry, Britt"
"Thanks, Santana; you're the best friend a girl could have"
"Yeah... best friends" Santana held up her little finger and Brittany linked hers to it.
"Santana?"
"Yeah, Britt?"
"Can we turn this movie off and watch something nicer, please?"
"Sure, Britt, what do you want to watch?" Santana asked, already knowing the answer.
"Tangled!" They exclaimed at the same time.
Santana giggled and she pulled Brittany off of her, got out of the bed and changed the movie.
They laughed as they sang along to the songs, Santana watching Brittany's face light up as Flynn and Rapunzel kissed, this was her favourite film.
They both fell asleep during the credits, leaving them running, and as Brittany's mom looked into the room to say goodnight to them, she smiled, knowing that her daughter had the best friend she could ever want her to have, but also knowing that she was more than just a friend.
