Chapter 1: Virture
Fiction Rated T (13 Yr. & older)
It was exactly 10:30 p.m., October 24th. We were standing on the old Miller's Bridge. He had been talking all night. Nothing in particular though. I sensed he was getting frustrated. My hands were shoved into the pockets of my bright, pink & green hoodie. It began raining, lightly at first. I looked at him, he was staring mindlessly into the cold, whipping currents below. He threw up the hood to his red & black hoodie. I looked away. He began speaking.
"Just tell me you honestlylove me."
I managed to whisper three words, "I love you." He turned to me, his gorgeous eyes piercing holes straight through me.
I continued. " I love you but..." Either I must have stopped or he had cut me off.
"But what! You love him more?" His voice seemed to boom louder with each word that he spoke.
I mumbled to myself, then spoke up. "Yes." He sarcastically laughed.
"Oh my God, you're unbelieveable. How can you be in love with somebody you barely know? Do you realize how insane you are sounding?"
"Frankie..." I was almost begging instead of pleading.
"Don't call me Frankie. Only people who care about me call me Frankie." He walked away & I was left alone in the pouring rain, staring the way he left.
