"I've missed you." She said smiling at him
"Why's that?" He asked laughing, "You just saw me yesterday." She just smiled and hugged him a little more tightly. He laid his head on top of hers and turned so that his face was in her hair. She shifted happily in his arms.
"Stay with me forever?" He asked her
"Forever." She agreed and sighed happily, she loved to sit like this, she always felt safe in his arms. She loved the way their bodies fit together, and the smell of his soap. He wrapped his other arm around her and she could feel the happiness radiate from his body. Everything just felt so right.
"Cedric?" She whispered
"Hmm?" He replied, she could tell he was starting to drowse. The sunlight always relaxed him.
"Why do you love me?" She asked smiling
"Because you're perfect, what I've yet to figure out is why you waste your time on me." He replied seriously.
"Because you're perfect." She answered promptly and dissolved into giggles, she could feel him shake with laughter. She closed her eyes and started to drift off. She felt him shift slightly.
Something was tapping her shoulder, frowning she brushed her hand at it.
"Cho, wake up..." a familar female voice whispered through the air
"Cedric? What's happening?" She asked opening her eyes to look at him. He wasn't there.
She was in her bed at home, tears streaming down her face. She gave into her sobs as her mother wrapped her arms around her. "I'm sorry sweety." Her mother whispered stroking Cho's hair.
Sometimes Cho wished for nightmares, because it's better to wake up screaming than crying.
