THROUGH

Left in this room for centuries, forsaken, forgotten.

He smells him. His master.

How long has it been?

Can wizards live that long?

No they can't.

The boy is younger than his master, but he speaks his tongue, and he is here.

And he talks to him.

He lets him out.

Finally he can wander again.

He watches, he listens.

His new master understands him.

Corridors and stairs,

paintings and walls,

he sees it all through the pipes.

Toilets and sinks, and brown eyes.

And the body touches the ground.

Master's glad, the girl had to die.

She seems to know it too, she doesn't blame his master.

She doesn't blame him either.

Maybe she just does not get it.

Does she even know how to think? Probably not.

Brainless creatures.

And master stops coming.

He is no longer allowed out.

He is left alone for decades.

And so he listens.

He hears her cry.

She never left either, she is constant.

Here for the rest of eternity.

Just like him.

And there's only water and rocks, and her and him, and she doesn't even know.

She does not know what lives beneath her.

And she's all he knows.

Apart from his chamber...

…Until she comes along.

She does not smells like master, but still, she smells pure.

She talks to him, and he listens.

She asks him to do things, and he does them, because she lets him out again.

And corridors and stairs,

paintings and walls.

And water and blood.,

and a flash of light and the body falls.

And she comes back, because the boy lived.

So he wonders again.

And through corridors and ghosts,

yellow meets brown and the body falls.

And through shelves and books,

through corridors and mirrors,

yellow meets brown and blue and two bodies fall.

And still she comes back,

and through tears and screams,

so does his master.

And here she lies, among the waters and among the rocks.

And he watches over her until the end of his eternity.

Through masters and murders,

through eyes and through lies.

Through lives.

Hi, so that was a really small thing about the basilisk's stay in Hogwarts. I know I haven't written in a long time but someone asked me to write again in a message, so here it is. Hope she'll like it. And to everyone, I hope you enjoy, and thanks for reading. I don't own anything, it all belongs to the great J.K Rowling.
