I disclaim twilight I do not own it, Stephanie Meyer does.
"Esme POV"
I ran through the trees alongside my husband. We had just received a call from Edward; apparently, a mysterious vampire child just appeared on the reserve. We had to go home and get changed into something cleaner.
3 minuets later
We walk into Jacob's house, a little boy is sitting on the kitchen counter and Edward is checking him over like Carlisle would any child in the hospital.
He looks like me, a lot like me. Carlisle noticed it too. I heard him say my name but all I can say is; "I know."
The boy jumps up and rips passed Edward, and I realize he's running at me. Just before Carlisle can move to block him he yells something, with an emotion very close to joy.
"MUMMY!" Wait did he just call me his mother? How can this be?
"What did you just say?" I asked shocked.
"You are Esme? are you not?" He asked taken aback.
I just nod, by now my hand is covering my mouth and I can not find my voice to speak. I can feel Carlisle's arm around me for support and I realize I am completely leaning on him.
"Well than you are my mummy." He said with a strong tone
"How is it possible? My son died over 50 years ago. Dead at birth." This could not be happening I'm having a bad day!
"That's what they thought!" He said excited to know this was who he thought was his mom. "They thought I was dead when I was born because I didn't cry!" He looked over joyed.
"It's quite possible, back then they didn't think that the children were alive when they were born unless they cried." Carlisle added but it really didn't help. If it was possible for a vampire to faint I'm sure I would have by now.
My hand still covering my mouth I said. "My… my son" I burst out in tears. "But how did you find me?"
"When I turned nine I was diagnosed with cancer. a girl named Didyme found me and changed me into a vampire. One day we were out for a walk in Rome when someone said I looked like a woman who had just moved from there. My mother looked at me and realized I did look like you, she told me the basics of where I could find you but I was always one step behind you. after what I've seen here," he moved his hand in the rest of my families direction, who I just noticed didn't seem to be buying it. "no wonder I was not one step behind you this time, you were staying here longer and, oh I always dreamed about this day ever since I was diagnosed with cancer."
AUTHORS NOTE: I'VE READ IT OVER TWICE AND AFTER THIS IF IT'S STILL TERIBLE GRAMMAR, I GIVE UP!
