Found this in my notebook, and decided to post it since I liked it well enough. Feedback, please? Did I screw up Kin's character, did you see any mistakes, etc, etc.
Don't own Naruto.
It's Orochimaru's fault, she says to herself. He's the reason for all this happening to her. (She never asked to be saved, it was just that he was there, and she was so damn scared, and just plain hungry for more--)
She once asked him why he choose her. Why he decided she was worthy of being a Sound nin. He merely gave her one of those looks of his, and told her she asked him to. (But she knows very well she never made such a request, she had never even seen him before the day he came, never spoke to him, him with all his cryptic answers, and the one thing that may revive her withering--)
She is bitter, because she knows. She knows, and she still fights. (He saved her, gave her life again, but she is just another face, just another tool in his game and in the end she will just end up lying on the ground in--)
---
This girl pisses her off. She's all pink cotton candy, fluffy clouds, and knows nothing, nothing of life, of being a shinobi. She's simply weak, and there, an annoyance blocking them from their goal. (She was never like that, primping and fussing over her looks for a boy; she's never even known a boy, only men, only Orochimaru, and she only got his attention from gaining more--)
She she takes satisfaction in the thought of the torture that lay ahead for the bit of cotton candy, in the distress she sees as the girl lifts her head. But then she see her eyes, a bright, innocent green, and she knows she should be disgustd by that too, but they just ask, plead for help. (And it's not the 'please save me!' kind of help, it's the other kind of help, the kind she doesn't understand Orochimaru for giving her, and she sees the girl knows she may never be strong, but she still wants it, craves it, it's her greatest--)
So she takes her hair, as Orochimaru once took her in. (And she attacks her, but only with insults and threats, because she sees she isn't as strong as she was, and she isn't as cruel as he was; as strands of cotton candy float by she feels proud, and understands why he took her in, she only hopes that this girl's search will not be like hers, that it will not end in--)
