"I will take your place, C.C." Lelouch said. C.C. lay on the floor bleeding and she touched his hand as she had done when first granting him the Geass.

"Then let the contract between us be broken." she said telepathically. "Do you agree to take over the Geass and to be its eternal bearer?"

"I accept." he told her. He felt a wave of electricity hit him and Lelouch's body went numb. All of C.C.'s information had flown in to his body as had the Geass and it's seal. Time had stopped for him and the bindings that had held C.C. when he had first awoken her formed around him. He was now, seemingly immortal.

~2 Days Later~

"I'll miss you big brother!" Naunally cried as he stood inside the containment cell that had been C.C.'s.

Naunally... Lelouch thought.

"I, Lelouch Vi Brittania, cannot be known to be to be alive! I will take C.C.'s place as bearer of the Geass!" he announced. He then turned to a man who stood near a control panned. "Enclose me." Lelouch ordered.

"Yes Sir." the man pressed a button and the cell began to close him in to complete darkness. Lelouch closed his eyes for the sleep that would come until it was his time to wake.

"Lelouch! I'll always love you!" Naunally cried out from her wheel chair as she flung her arms out towards him.

"I love you too. Now goodbye, take care...Naunally." he said before the last string of light was cut off.

As Lelouch slept he had dreams, as he dreamed the world outside changed, as the world outside changed people died, as people died others were born, as others were born new inventions were made, and as the new inventions were made new things were produced.

Time had stopped for him. His time had stopped and now all he could do inside his confined darkness was sleep. He slept and dreamed, and he slept and dreamed some more, yet no one ever came to wake him. He slept for such a long, long, peaceful time that soon he got used to the never ending sleep.
