Double Dee sat back stage at the peach creek high talent show waiting for his turn to show his fellow young scholars what he could do. He held his black Guitar in his hand, finally deciding it was time to show a certain blue-nette how he really felt about her, regardless of the consequences.
The Principle called out from on stage, "please welcome Eddward Mason, everybody." With that introduction Double Dee walked on stage, plugged his guitar into the wall of amps, and said into the microphone, "this is for a certain Marie Kanker." He looked at Ed and Eddy, the later expecting something about hate, Ed wrapped up in his comics as usual.
He started playing his guitar, and the look on Eddy's face was priceless, curse my not having my camera, Double Dee thought. When he got to the chorus of the song he looked and saw Marie crying and smiling at the same time "I don't know how you do what you do I'm so in love with you." He continued to sing to Marie not caring who made fun of him for liking the blue haired goddess. When he finally got of stage, he saw Marie waiting to talk to him.
"Did you mean that Double Dee?" she asked
"Every word Marie, I love you know, and forever." He responded, expecting what came next as she leapt at him and kissed him passionately.
He smiled, Lee walking up to them "finally you two." Was all she said.
