"Name?"
"River."
"Do you have a job?"
"I'm the Dragonborn."
"No wa- oh, you're serious. Alright then. Where will you be living?"
"I have a house just outside of Falkreath."
Constance Michel bobbed her head and smiled. "Okay then, that's all my questions. Which would you like to adopt, Dragonborn?"
It was River's turn to grin. "All of them."
She glanced up, startled, and nearly fell off the bench she sat at. "I'm sorry?"
"I'd like to adopt all of them, if I can. I have a lot of land, and tons of servants to help out, if that's what you're concerned about."
Constance sputtered for several seconds, before River cut her off. "Actually, I was wondering if I could buy the whole orphanage. Price doesn't matter, whatever you're comfortable with. I just want the kids to be safe and comfortable."
Constance gaped before listing off a price. River nodded and smiled, pulling out the amount she wanted from her pocket and easily handing it to the woman. Constance stared wide-eyed as she passed her and swept into the main area, where all the children were sitting doing mostly nothing.
"Hello children, I've come to adopt you all. Pack your things please. We leave in twenty." she left the happy, incredulous screams behind and brushed past Constance, who seemed to be in a daze. Her husband was waiting outside, looking far too amused for his own good.
Marcurio looped his arm through her's and they stared down at the water rushing through the canal below.
"You did good." He commented softly.
She let out a heavy sigh. "I hope so."
(A/N) Hello! I hope you enjoyed! This is something that bothers me a lot, 'this' being only being able to adopt up to two children. I want them ALL. But I have to say, Blaise and Samuel are my favorite children, personally. They melt my heart : )
