DM Lost In The Superstore
It was time for some shopping, the Gru residence was running out of food. ''Margo, Edith'' Lucy called, ''We're going shopping. Margo and Edith trudged into the kitchen where Lucy had been writing a shopping list. Gru was at the park with Agnes who was flying a kite, so it was going to be just the three of them. Seconds later Lucy had parked her car outside the super store.
Margo and Edith followed her through the revolving doors and fetched whatever Lucy had asked for. As they wondered through the aisles. Turning down the next aisle, Edith stopped to look at an advert for a new ninja comic, but then she noticed there was no sign of Lucy or Margo! Edith raced around desperately trying to find them.
But it was no use, she was really lost.
She raced around until she began to cry. But then who should come around the corner but Lucy and Margo. ''Edith!'' Lucy cried, running up, and scooping her up and hugging her, ''I thought I'd lost you!''. Margo watched as Lucy held Edith while she cried.
Margo had got lost herself one a long time ago , before she, her sisters and Gru had even meet Lucy. It was all because she had taken the wrong elevator. Edith had remembered Margo getting lost too, now it had happened to her too. ''What happened Edith?'' Lucy questioned squeezing her tight.
''I..'' Edith choked, ''I just stopped to look at some new ninja stuff''. ''Ok'' Lucy replied, relived to have found her lost daughter, ''Just say so in the future ok?''. Edith nodded, at least she wasn't in trouble. ''Now then'' Lucy finished, ''Let's get this shopping finished''. They returned home to find Gru and Agnes already there.
''Gru How's Agnes?'' Lucy asked. ''She's fine, she had a great day But she's been eating ice cream with me which we both liked''. ''Good'' Lucy smiled. She could see Edith giving her a look as if to say ''Don't tell him that I got lost''. Lucy nodded understandingly Things had turned out alright in the end.
