Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto
A/N: I though this up a long time ago. It was a reason I had kind of come up with myself explaining why Naruto loved (and always wore) the color orange.
Fashion Sense
By: animeroxsmyworld
Fashion sense had nothing to do with it. Hell, he didn't care about fashion. When he dressed in the morning the last thing on his mind was whether he clashed or not. His lack of fashion sense was how most people excused his taste of clothing. Why else would someone dress themselves in something so abhorrently bright?
But it went so much deeper than fashion. It even went deeper than simply saying he loved the color orange, which he did after so many years.
No, the color orange was so much more.
It was bright. So excruciatingly bright that no one could help but notice it the moment it entered the room.
They had to stare.
They had to look.
They had to recognize it. They couldn't glance over it without giving pause. So used to being dismissed and ignored on the streets that the first time Naruto had walked down the street in his orange jumper, people had paused to stare at him. He was so startled by the change, so shocked by the fact that they were looking at him, actually looking at him that he almost cried in surprise.
He loved the color orange.
It had never been about fashion sense.
