Just something that popped into my head at the end of 10x11 "Shabbat Shalom". Some of what happens will obviously be of my own making while everything you recognize will be from the show.

The moment Tony got the call, he knew. He knew that no matter how tonight ended, everything would change.
When he got to the house, there were already local LEO's swarming around the house and along the street; paramedics carting medical supplies back and forth between the house and the ambulances. He was about to ask the officer closest to him who was in charge when the familiar face of Tim McGee stepped out the front door.
The grim look on his face told Tony all he needed to know. At least one person hadn't made it out alive. He rushed up to the younger man, hands grasping shoulders as if to ground the both of them before everything fell apart.
"Who?" All Tim could do was shake his head, his lower lip giving off the slightest of trembles. Tony moved away from Tim and stormed into the house, stopping as soon as he saw the body propped up against the doorway. He spun in a little circle and ran his hands through his hair as he felt his stomach fall to his feet. He wasn't sure how long he stood there when suddenly, a dark flash appeared.
"Tony?" Her voice was so quiet he almost thought she hadn't said anything at all. She took a step forward, her eyes still connected to his and he couldn't help the misting of tears that sprang forth. Ziva's own dark eyes began to water and in that moment he knew that she knew her father wouldn't be walking out on his own two feet.
"No…" she walked the next few steps into the house and the moment she saw her father, she tensed for a moment before falling apart.
"Abba!" The cry was deep, guttural, and oh so broken. He would never forget that sound and it would be weeks before it would stop playing in his mind over and over. She sounded and looked so young in that moment as she closed the distance between herself and the still warm body of her father. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Gibbs and McGee come into the house.
At that same moment, Ziva dropped to her knees and curled against her father, wrapping her arms around him and hugging him close, her tears washing away the little make-up she had on and falling onto her abba's bloodied shirt.
Gibbs walked away, mostly because he couldn't take the sight in front of him and in part because he wanted sweet and cruel revenge against the people who did this to his daughter. Tim watched him go before turning back to the heartbreaking scene in front of him. His female counterpart had begun praying in Hebrew and great gasping sobs broke free from deep inside her. Like his boss, he couldn't take anymore and silently followed him out, Tony following close behind.
He really didn't want to leave her but he wanted to respect any wishes and boundaries she had to let her have a few moments with her father. Suddenly, Gibbs barked at Tony and headed towards one of the Chargers.
"Let her have a few minutes before they take him away...at least until Ducky gets here." Tony asked of his friend and the younger man nodded. The instant he was mostly secured in the car, Gibbs took off like a bat out of hell and he sent a silent prayer to all those above to watch out for the team.
He hoped that Ziva would be okay.
Not 100% satisfied at how this came out but I like it enough to post it. Enjoy and let me know what you think.
Until next time,
