A/N: I've taken a couple of liberties with the dates, as there is a brief feature of Icewind Dale in this particular fic (as IWD1 is set in 1281 DR, IWD2 thirty years later and BG1 is set in 1368 DR… just ignore it.) NWN2: SoZ also makes an appearance. I've been wanting to write this for a while. This fic may seem a little roundabout in how it gets to ToB, but it does tie together and will get there in the end.
