Hey just a short one-shot of a scene that I thought of after watching "The mother and child in the bay", again. It's kinda silly but it was just one of those ones that wouldn't go away!

Booth was putting away the files from the Richardson case. It had been one of the weirder cases he and Bones had solved, and they had some pretty strange ones. Kyle had left with his son about two hours ago. And Brennan had just left. He still couldn't get his head around the fact that one of her their victim's friends had killed her. He was closing a filing cabinet when there was a knock on the door. He turned around.
"Hey Camille." He smiled.
"Seeley." She replied.
"Come in sit down. So have you settled back in any bit more?"
"A bit. Dr Brennan still doesn't like me."
"Just give her time. She doesn't like change."
"Right. Well I wish she'd hurry up." she looked at the floor.
"What's up Camille?"
"Nothing I just said I'd call."
"Cam." He raised an eyebrow. She looked up at him, and blurted out
"Are you sleeping with her Seeley?" Booth choked on the mouthful of coffee he had just taken.
"What!"
"God you haven't changed a bit you're still as uncomfortable as ever talking about sex!"
"Cam we… I… Bones…" but he stopped, and decided to play this out and see why she was asking. "What makes you think that?"
"Just how you act around each other. And the whole book dedication thing and…" she paused. "… She looked at you today when I asked her if she's pregnant. And that made me think. Is she?" she stood up.
"What no Cam she's not! At least I don't think so." He said not aware that that wasn't helping Cam's thoughts at all.
"But you are sleeping with her?" she asked. He grinned.
"Why does it matter Cam? Are you jealous?" He taunted.
"What! No of course not! I just want to know if there's anything that could upset my working environment and my team!"
"Well there isn't."
"Right then." She went to leave. He said as she was just out the door.
"I'm not sleeping with her Cam. Were just partners." She turned and he saw a slight look of relief on her face. He threw her a charm smile. "But I have to say I never thought you were the jealous type!"
"I wasn't jealous Seeley!"
"Sure Camille sure."
