Chapter One
The Plan
"Your majesty, the Lord of the Western Lands has been swayed by a human female," a messenger spy said. "Lord InuTaisho has fallen in love with another human, nay?" a female asked. "No my queen. InuTaisho died 700 years ago the night his half-breed son was born." the servant said. "This is now very interesting. I will have to follow him to see if this human is worthy of Sesshomaru's company," the woman in the shadows said, "Bring Seto to me." "Yes my queen," the servant said and left. When the servant returned, with him was a young boy with long silver hair and violet eyes. "You summoned me okaasan?" the boy asked. "Yes," the woman said and her blue-violet eyes shifted to the servant. "Where is the Western Lord now?" she asked. "He is currently traveling with his half brother, your majesty," the servant said. "Seto I want you to travel with and gain the trust of InuYasha, Sesshomaru, and their group," the woman said. "I trust you will be following us mother, right?" Seto asked and watched as his mother's eyes moved up and down. Seto then bowed and left. As soon as he was gone the woman laughed. 'Sesshomaru's day has finally come. Lets see how long it takes him to put the pieces into place, she thought and disappeared from the room.
Meanwhile as InuYasha, Sesshomaru, Kagome, Rin, Sango, Miroku, AhUn, Jaken, Shippo, and Kilala traveled, the humans of the group grew weary. After a few protests from InuYasha, they finally made camp. As Shippo and Rin ran around, someone jumped out of the bushes and the children screamed. When InuYasha saw the boy, he looked back and forward between the boy and Sesshomaru. 'What the hell, that boy looks just like Sesshomaru, InuYasha thought. "Who are----." Inuyasha stopped when he saw Rin go up to the boy. "Hi my name is Rin. What's your name? You're really handsome. What kind of demon are you?" Rin asked and the boy blushed. "My name is Seto and I'm a inu-ryu demon." Seto said. Rin then grabbed his hand. "Come play with me Seto." Rin said with a smile, not once letting on to the others that she knew of what was really going on. 'Nakira sent her own son to keep an eye on Lord Sesshomaru. I guess she knows about the 'human' female traveling with him, Rin thought, I can still remember what she said the day he was born.
flashback
"Oh Nakira he's so handsome. There will be many female demons coming after---." "No! My son will marry a demoness from my court and no one else." Nakira said interrupting Rin. Rin sighed. "Then I guess I can put in a bid," she said and smiled when Nakira looked at her completely shocked. Rin then chuckled as she watched her friend with her new born baby
end flashback
"That was 650 years ago and I can see that Seto has grown up well." Rin said and then realized that she spoke aloud when she saw everyone looking at her. "Explain." Sesshomaru said.
