I Don't own anything to do with the lovely people of Star Trek Voyager or of Stargate SG1. I'm just playing.
Imagine the Borg have control of the USS Voyager (again!), the main computers are in their control and our favourite characters are trapped in one room. SG1 who have somehow found themselves in the future (again!) by about 300 years. With enemies worse than any they've seen and on a strange ship in a foothold situation, they desperately try to think of a way for Carter to save their collective asses! (again!!)
Chakotay: The Borg have control of decks 9 through 15.
Be'lanna: We need to disable them
Janeway: How?
Be'lanna: No idea
Daniel: What are the Borg exactly?
Be'lanna: snort
Chakotay: There half machines, half organic
Carter: Half machine, half organic?
Janeway: Yes
O'Neill: Oh jeze, something like that exists.
Carter: Well sir it is theoretically possible, you just have to look at all the advances surrounding false appendages and having them interact with the remaining tissues and nerves…
O'Neill: Carter now is not the time!
Carter: Yes Sir.
Teal'c: These creatures, the mechanical side, they are like computers, no?
Janeway: Essentially yes but it's a bit more complicated and we really don't have time to explain.
O'Neill: Try us! Carters a genius don't cha know. I'm sure she can figure something.
Carter: Sir this technology is beyond anything the Asguard or even the Ancient technology we've encountered so far.
Chakotay: The organic parts and the mechanical parts are interlinked. Both work together to keep the body running the one section cannot survive if the other section was two badly damaged.
Carter; So one half computer one half organic!
Be'lanna:Wow intelligent, I'm sure we said that ten minutes ago.
Janeway:Be'lanna!
Daniel:Umm excuse me, the computer side does it produce a ummm watch-ma-call-it?
Carter:Daniel, are you talking about an electromagnetic field?
Daniel:Oooo that's the one!
Be'lanna:Yes like all electric run machines it would produce some sort of magnetic field. Why do you want to know?
Carter:If one side can't live without the other then..
Teal'c:The machine will fail.
O'Neill:So we destroy it. So how do we knock out the un-organic side.
Carter: We create a EM pulse, it will disable anything within the radius that produces an EM field.
Janeway: We need the deflector dish, which is within the Borg's control.
O'Neill: Sooo where do we get that?

If you want more of this slightly deluded and insane story then you know what you need to do. No! Then you need to push the button and say 'writer we want more' and I will oblige. I ignore flamers so dont even bother, it only makes me laugh!
By the way this story was written at 3.30am after a hard days work and after watching the Matrix Revolutions.
