A song I composed, dedicated to he incalculable, immeasureable love between Ariadne and Dionysus. Sure, the camp director is a dried out old couch potato, but he has the sweetest heart in my imagination, his spite fuelled by the absence of Ariadne in his life. Might I remind you, Thesues dumped Ariadne even after she helped him throught the Labyrinth of Daedalus, and Dionysus nursed her back to sanity and propriety. And thus, love blossomed...
Additionally, this proves that there is one unique aspect ine very single love story, and should my exam week pass by fast and should I study well, in the holidays, I will so expand on this. Until then, think of this as a prologue, or just a one shot to start off with.
Of Me, of Thee.
See the pretty pictures on the wall-
How sweet they appear to be
(Colourful shades set me free)
You seem so slight, I feel so tall
There's one of us at some Greek tea;
One of sunset fading to black, at the sea
---
There's one of your blue eyes wide
In a beautiful kind of surprise
Like there's nothing for you to hide;
There's nothing for you to hide.
With a sip of the wine glass in my hands
I broke our well strung and tied bands:
Should've thought of us before me
I was too blind to even see-
CH.
You were so beautiful, so pure,
And so angelic for me
While I drunk beer, spirit, and wine; anything from a grape tree
At first the moment I comforted you,
I felt this weakness in my knees
Yet now, that you are gone, this drink reminds me of….
Of me, and of thee.
----
Stop the tears from my eyes-
My reprimand makes me miserable
Another decade from you, so foreseeable
Neither rain checks nor any lies
You were so truthful; so agreeable
No you're there in heaven, indestructible….
----
Won't tear this ancient picture of ours
It's of you; me adorning you with flowers:
Your grin lit up life like a fire bolt
Thy persona struck me like a colt.
Should I have laid aside my glass of wine,
Then everything would be alright, just fine
Having healed your heart from its tears and bruises;
Now again, I been gone, your heart loses…
CH.
You were so beautiful, so chaste,
And so beatific for me
While I drunk beer, spirit, and wine; anything from a grape tree
At first the moment I comforted you,
I felt this weakness in my knees
Yet now, that you are gone, this drink reminds me of….
Of me, and of thee.
Of me and of thee,
-----
Of me and of thee,
Of me and of thee…
Only of me and of thee
Though still to date I strut, wearing a poker face, it is only for thee
Sent to torture myself; your memories fill me like drink, I only think of thee….
How upset you were, when he left you on your own
I loved thee….
Thanks to me, should I say so, your love has grown….for me….
And once broken, never the same again:
Thank you for loving me back; Like you meant it, it showed
Our immortality it slowed,
I love you like I've never loved anyone ever before
The day I can return to you forever
We'll never, ever sever our, our, our union
Stories will colour or romantics, they will speak of…of
Me and of thee.
CH.
You were so beautiful, so pure,
And so angelic for me
While I drunk beer, spirit, and wine; anything from a grape tree
At first the moment I comforted you,
I felt this weakness in my knees
Yet now, that you are gone, this drink reminds me of….
Of me, and of thee.
Thanks. If you favourite this and don't review, it makes me half as happy - just click on the damn thing and type "Good" or "Bad" or "OK OK".
PS - Pragyan (shelfari), this is one fo my millions of songs. They all suck to me -- this one is crappy in my opinion too....
