Don't Go
The sequel to Don't Die.
Actually, Duo was meant to die, but I just picked up my pen and started writing, and it turned out this way. So.
Disclaimer: All Gundam Wing charas belong to Bandai and whoever owns them. I promise them returned and polished.
Right.

The doctors left the room, and Heero sat down on the chair.
Let me tell you a story, Duo.
***~~~***
I was an unfeeling boy. I was trained to become a hard-core soldier. I had no feelings for mankind, for humans had destroyed my family, made me have no place to go. I spent years hating people, training and training for my destiny; to pilot a Gundam, and to accept my mission. I saw myself victorious and walking away from the completed mission, it being completed, and then I could go back hating silently. But on this mission, the vision changed forever. It changed from a victorious, to one filled with love and hope. For I met a boy who changed me inside out. Suddenly I had feelings, and I could feel hurt and love again, like I once must have a long time ago. That boy's laughter and manner changed me, so I was no longer the Perfect Soldier, but I couldn't have cared less. But to cut a long story short, this boy and I became roommates after the mission was completed. And then this boy got into a street fight. Yes, he could protect himself well, but there were far too many, and I arrived too late. I love this boy, Duo, so how could I stand there and do nothing? But he had been beaten badly; I felt him go limp in my arms, and for the first time, I couldn't string two words together, and I felt lost again. I brought him to the hospital, Duo, and the doctors tried, but they said to let him live it out. Now, I couldn't let this boy live it out without letting him know how he changed my life, could I? This boy gave me my humanity when I had thought I'd lost it forever, but this boy's going to take it away again if he dies. I can't let him go without saying I love you. Not without a goodbye. Not without telling him that to die was to break my heart and make me an unfeeling creature. And that's why I'm telling you now. Don't go, Duo, it'll kill me if you do. I think I heard you say 'Aishiteru'. Well, I love you too. Don't go Duo. You can't go.

Heero spent the rest of the night clenching Duo's hand, never letting go, head bent, still telling Duo not to go.
A/N: RIGHT. I'm crazy. JK rolling in the mud, I finished this about 2 minutes after we put down the phone. 'Halfway done' was quite done already, after all.
Chaps, there's still slightly more coming from this crazy girl here, ok?
