Disclaimer: As usual, I don't of course own these characters
Rating: G
Pairing: S/G, our favourite heroes :)
Author's notes: To all of you who have read „Enemy of my enemy", take this one as a sequel because I never wrote about their wedding. Who haven't read it, take it as an ordinary romantic fluff . I was in a really happy and very in-love mood. And English is not my native language. And the song „Before the dawn"belongs to Evanescence.
Two figures were walking on the side of the water. Feet barely in water, just touching it slightly.
They were talking quietly and laughing as the rays of the sun caressed them.
Suddenly the woman ran out of his reach and called, „Catch me if you can!"
He took the dare and chased her through the beach, always a little behind her.
Then she stumbled and before she got time to react, he was above her.
Smiling, he kissed her and she took welcomed it.
They continued the little game until he stood up and took her in his arms.
For some time they just held each other, looking at the setting sun.
Then he sat down on the sand taking her with him.
Quietly, they looked at the sunset and when it faded, they sat there for a long time.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, she started to sing.
It was their song, he recognized it immediately and sang with her, in a quiet whisper.
Meet me after dark again and I'll hold you
I am nothing more than to see you there
And maybe tonight, we'll fly so far away
We'll be lost before the dawn
If only night can hold you where I can see you, my love
Then let me never wake again
And maybe tonight, we'll fly so far away
We'll be lost before the dawn
Somehow I know that we can't wake again from this dream
it's not real, but it's ours
Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away
we'll be lost before the dawn
As it ended, he caressed softly her hair and whispered, „I love you, Shorty."
She smiled and as quietly replied, „I love you too, Gage."
How about some reviews for me now?
