I've Got a Confession

One Shot

Quinn wondered round a dreaming smiled on her face. A small rose bud was tuck behind her hair. Logan was such the romantic.

"Quinn!"

"Quinn!"

Quinn was snapped out of her daze by an impatient voice – Zoey.

"Huh yeah?" she asked.

"We've been calling you for like the past five minutes," said Zoey.

"Oh sorry," said Quinn.

"So where were you?" asked Zoey.

"And who gave you that rose?" asked Lola.

"Who said anyone gave it to me?" asked Quinn.

"Er the dreamy look on your face," answered Lola.

"Oh um yeah," answered Quinn, absentmindedly, as she spotted Logan.

"Come on let's get lunch and you can tell us I hope it's someone better than Mark," said Lola.

Quinn deliberated over what to get for lunch, trying to put off Zoey and Lola. But she knew no matter how long she took they wouldn't forget.

She grabbed the salad she had been originally intending to get, paid and headed to her inquisition.

"So who is it?" asked Lola.

"Lola she's just sat down give her a minute," laughed Zola.

The girls started there lunches, silence ticked by. They were joined by the guys and Lisa.

"So who is it?" asked Zoey.

"Who's what?" asked James.

"Quinn's guy. She's got a rose and a dreamy expression," answered Zoey.

"Who would want to date Quinn?" asked Logan, arrogantly.

Quinn gave him a swift kick on the shin.

"Ow!"

"Violence isn't the answer," said Lola.

"You bite his ear last week," said Quinn.

"Well he deserved that," said Lola.

"So who is it?" asked Zoey.

"Is he embarrassing?" asked Lola.

"No," answered Quinn.

"Are you embarrassed to be dating him?" asked Zoey.

"Yes," answered Quinn.

"Why date him?" asked Zoey.

"I really like him," replied Quinn, she exchanged a shy glance with Logan.

"So why care what people think?" asked Zoey. "If you really like him."

"I'd have to speak to him," said Quinn.

"Anyway if it's not Mark again and it's not someone like Logan. Or someone-"

"What's wrong with me?" asked Logan.

"You're a jerk and you're rude," said Zoey. "As I was saying or someone involved with someone else who cares."

Quinn looked around the table, Logan giving her an affirmative nodded.

"Well he's sweet, kind and romantic. It's not a side he lets people see often," said Quinn.

"So he's a jerk around people but nice to you?" asked Lola.

"Yeah but when he feels like it he's nice to other people as well. He just usually comes across as conceited and arrogant," explained Quinn.

"I've got it," said James. "I suspected it for a while anyway."

"You did?" asked Quinn and Logan.

"Yeah," answered James. "You two weren't very sneaky."

"He wasn't talking to you Logan," snapped Lola. "So who was it?"

"That's up to Quinn to divulge," said James.

"It's Logan," said Quinn.

The group – apart from James's and Logan – bursts out laughing.

"Sorry," laughed Zoey. "Sorry did you say Logan."

"Yes," answered Quinn.

"But Logan isn't any of these things," answered Lola.

"Well he is to me," said Quinn.

"Really guys you're taking this joke to far," said Michael.

"You didn't get a surprise birthday party it's no joke," said Quinn.

"James you believe it?" asked Zoey.

"I've seen them around campus is half a dozen times," said James.

"When did you get together?" asked Zoey.

"The day I tried to win Mark back and you were on a horse," answered Quinn.

"So Logan liked you because you looked hot?" asked Lola.

"No," answered Logan. "She looks beautiful everyday. That day she looked different and nothing like her at all. She didn't look like Quinn and now she looks like herself everyday."

"That's really sweet," gushed Lisa.

"But Logan isn't sweet," said Lola.

"Well now you guys know. I'm not hiding it. You can believe or disbelieve all you want but you're just going to have to get used to us," said Quinn.

Logan nodded and the gang watched as he and Quinn stood up and walked hand in hand.
