Spirits in the Dead of Night

A young girl happens upon Barricade as he is chasing Sam for the glasses. Seeing her, Barricade takes her, intending to keep her quiet, not knowing his decision would change their lives forever. She meets many Cybertronians alike in her travels, but she is hiding a big secret. What happens when her secret is revealed unexpectedly?

I know I probably shouldn't be doing this, but I have had this story for a long time now (longer than Legend of Thunder ) and I want to share it with you all. This is in a different universe as Legend of Thunder and is set in the Bayverse with my own twist to it (other characters from other universes will make appearances). Many characters may be OOC (mostly the Decepticons that I am using; I have a weird perception of them after Legend of Thunder, where their personalities are so different), but they should be close to their original personalities. I don't own Transformers. I only own some of the plot and my OCs.

Spirits in the Dead of Night: Prologue

It's 1996 in the small town of Tranquility, Nevada; the small town's clock hits twelve midnight, two dire wolves silently sneak in with precious cargo. The two wolves finally come to a building titled Tranquility Orphanage. Putting their precious cargo on the top step, one looks at the other,

"Are you sure about this, Atlantis?"

"I am sure, Aquaflame, but don't worry about that now. We have to spend our last moment on this earth as living beings wisely; with Aquarius."

Five minutes later, their tail tips turned into a wispy white mist. Then in unison, they howled, blessing their pup on the doorstep, while also alerting the headmistress of the orphanage. Suddenly the mist reached their muzzles as their howl trailed off and their spirits were whisked into the twinkling stars above.
