Disclaimer: I do not own twilight or any of its characters; Stephenie Meyer does…although I greatly wish that I did…

Aro had just appeared out of nowhere as I was staring out at the water a few feet back from where the cliff dropped off. Well, this is odd. I thought confused at why the heck he was here...by himself. But it was hard to even feel anything these days. After Edward left I had just turned into a zombie; completely lacking emotions.

"Bella, ever since I saw you I've wanted you, like a man wants a woman, not how a vampire wants a human. But unfortunately to have you I have to turn you into a vampire. But please do not think I am changing you only for my personal pleasure, I am changing you, Bella, because I see something special in you. Do you understand?" Aro questioned.

Begin Flashback

"Bella you are too beautiful, so beautiful in fact that when a vampire sees you they don't want your blood...they want you," Edward explained for the third time tonight.

"But Edward, Rosalie and Alice are beautiful, I'm not." He was about to say something but I cut him off. "Okay I'll say I'm at leastpretty, but I'm not beautiful," I said angrily. When will he get it? They are beautiful not me.

"Bella," he said with disappointment in his voice "it is obvious you don't see yourself clearly."

End Flashback

I hadn't taken his words seriously then, but now I do. I just nodded I am already dead in a way, so why deny him his pleasure? It is has been my wish for the past two years. He is just going to be the one to grant it."Fine," I said in a dead emotionless voice

He looked troubled for a moment, but then leaned down slowly to bite me; he paused for a second before finally sinking his razor-sharp teeth into the soft flesh of my neck. I gasped and fell to the ground. As the pain spread through me, I saw Aro disappear with a look of worry on his face. Why does every one seem to leave me? Am I really that repulsive?I thought sadly.

The pain got worse and I screamed out into the cold air. Maybe when I am a vampire, Edward will want me again. I lay there on the ground for what seemed like years and each minute the pain got worse and worse until I was so out of breath that I couldn't even scream. So this is why Edward didn't want to bite me. The bad thing was that I couldn't black out or fall sleep, all I could do was lay there writhing on the cold, wet ground. And then when I thought that I was on the verge of shattering, the pain stopped.

I had this weird itching in the back of my throat. I must be hungry; at least that's what Edward said the thirst would feel like.So I let my instincts take over, and instantly I smelt something delicious. I ran off in its direction eager to find out what it was.

I soon found out that it was a family of black panthers. I wish they didn't have to die painfully; actually it would be nice if they died before I even touched them. Their hearts all stopped and I looked at them in confusion. What the…Oh my goodness that must be my power: I can wish for things to die and they will! This is perfect for hunting, I thought asI dropped to my knees and drank the mother first. The blood! It tasted so good. I quickly moved on to the rest of the family and drank them up greedily.

I heard a sharp intake of breath and looked up, licking blood off my lips, to see a boy about my age standing a few feet away in the shadows of the trees, his eyes wide with shock.
