Fredward "Freddie" Benson sat across from Dr. Owen Hunt the current Chief of Surgery as well as Head of Trauma Surgery of Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital having just signed his contract to work at the hospital as a Registered Nurse and Scrub Nurse. Freddie thought of all the possibilities and hoped his mother would be proud of him for following in her footsteps as a nurse as she looked down at him from heaven before he had signed the contract and he liked that he would be able to help not only the hospital but a lot more patients.
Freddie looked and smiled a bit sadly, "I just want to thank you Dr. Hunt for giving me a chance here at the hospital despite the difficulties you've had with working with my mother before her death."
The red haired doctor smiled back at Freddie, "Please call me Owen Mr. Benson and despite how difficult she was she was very good at her job and we are happy to have you on here at the hospital."
Freddie smiled at Owen's answer, "Alright then. I'll call you Owen as long as you call me Freddie."
Both men stood and shook hands as they both hoped this worked out in the end.
