A/N: Just a little something for Silver and my OC~!

Declaimer: I don't own anything that isn't mine.

Summary: Acceptance, that's all she ever wanted from him.

Never Alone

I can't believe how much I've hurt you…
When all you really wanted…
…Was for me to accept you.

After Sapphire told me how much you had to go through just to save me…
Even going through regret near the end of your life…

I asked myself; why…?

Why did you cry for me?

Why did you go through so much pain all for my sake?

Just how much do I mean to you?
That you would even risk your own life just to save my own?

"She cried, and when I asked her why…She just cried more…"

Pike Queen Lucy's words echoed through my thoughts.
She was so worried about you…
I wish I did too, back then…

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YA'? SENPAI HAS GONE THROUGH SO MUCH FOR YA', AND YET YA' TREAT HER LIKE SHE DOESN'T MEAN A THING TO YOU'!"

How could I forget?
Sapphire got so mad when I slapped your hand away when you tried to reach out to me…
I don't blame her…

"She once told me this story…You see, whenever she's sad and alone; she pictures this little girl crying in a pitch black room with a broken rabbit doll in her hands. I think the girl is supposed to represent the sadness and pain someone would feel if no one was there for them, and the broken rabbit doll represents how broken their heart would be."

I guess I have to thank Winona someday for sharing that story…
Who knew that it would one day open my eyes to the truth?

"I've had enough! I'm so sick and tired of being treated that way! If you really hate me that much then just say it! I'm sick and tired of having to prove myself to someone who doesn't care!"

I held you tightly in my arms that day, finally letting you into my heart.
After all that's happened, I had finally awakened to the truth.

"I'm sorry…Neechan…"

One day, a little girl was crying…
She had broken her favorite toy…
But, no one was there to help her.

She went home, but was neglected by her parents…
Deeply despised by her brothers and sisters…
So she ran up to her room; she quickly turned off the lights, locked the door, and cried.

She had lost all hope of ever being loved.

Until one day; a man with crimson red hair came.

He picked up the little girl and held her in his arms.
He rubbed her back and rocked her slowly.

"It's okay now, I'm here. I'll never leave you…"

The little girl looked up, only to find sterling silver eyes looking back at her.

And, after so long…
…The little girl smiled once again.

She was loved.

There was once a little boy who always wore a mask…
He was always a shy little boy, never once removing the mask he wore.

But because of his strange mask, no one wanted to be near him.

So he was always alone.

In the darkness he stood, all alone and scared.

No one was ever there for him…

So he cried.

Until one day; a lady with raven-black hair came.

She slowly removed his mask, revealing the crying face underneath.

The young lady wiped away the little boy's tears before embracing him.

The young lad hugged her back, and cried.

He was loved.

[A/N:] Yeah, this was just something to take my mind off of things.
I was really upset, but after writing this I felt so much better!
