It was a nice and warm summer day in the village called Fillao, a wonderful little village with a strange purple lake near it. No one ever dared to go there though, because of what lived in a cave near the lake. The village folk called them the Vugs. They had warned their childeren to never go near the cave. They all always remebered the warning and listened and never went near it.
Except for one who was different, she had a skin color no one else on the planet had, she had a pale coloring while everyone else was as white as snow. Many belived she was from a different planet, while others just ignore it and paid no attention to her,even her parents rarely paid any attention to her, only her twin brother and her friends would. Since nobody normaly paid any attention, every other day she would go to the lake where one of the Vugs would be there, waiting for her, and thats where this story begins...
A girl walked to the shoreline as a Vug watched. She always came when the sun was setting. They were working on a project to get both sides to see that the other kind were friendly because the Vugs think the humans are evil, and vice versa. But the girl and the vug planned to prove them wrong. When she met up with the vug the vug asked." What took you so long Hertha? You normally are here earlier than this."
"Sorry Nelly, but my friends wanted to know where I've been going every other day and so I had to think of something to tell them." Hertha replied.
"Ah, so why don't you tell them the truth? We could use some help with this." Nelly said throwing a rock into the water. Hertha looked down at her." There is no way I could convince them to come down here, every one's parents always tell them not to come down here because they think you guys are dangerous."
Nelly stared at the water." Well then you gotta prove them we aren't dangerous, the rest back home think you guys are the one's who are dangerous."
Hertha sighed."I know, if only we could get both our villages to see that we both mean the other no harm." Nelly threw another rock into the water."Yeah, well it's getting late see you soon Hertha." Nelly said as she walked back to the cave.
"Yeah see you in two days." Hertha said back as she walked back to the village.
But little did they know that everytime they got together they were being watched by something in the water.
"Hmm I should report this to the king." Said a mysterious figure as it swam under and away.
