I gave my dad the 4 crystal gems Amethyst, Pearl, Garnet, and Rose and I made him pick 2. So he picked Amethyst and Rose and made a very odd pairing I have never seen before, hope you enjoy!

Come on Rose lets go! Amethyst dragged Rose along behind her, the fair is only here 1 week a year! Rose laughed and followed her chubby friend to the door. "Where are Pearl and Garnet?" Rose asked

"The already left.. hurry up!" Amethyst begged

"Ok, ok." Rose laughed

As they entered town even the most benighted person could tell that a fair or carnival was going on. The smells of junk food and popcorn butter drifted to the Gem's noses. Rose sniffed and turned to the icecream stand. She could smell the chocolate icecream from a few feet away. She started to walk over when she heard Amethyst yell I'll get us some, before feeling something run by her.

She smiled and found a empty bench nearby. She sat down and waited for Amethyst to return.

"Hey rose I got us some icecream!" Amethyst yelled

"What type?" rose asked

"banana chocolate swirl."

"Sounds good. But you only got one?" (She knew! Witchcraft! Sry usually I don't like inturupting the story)

"Umm... well... ya I wanted to share it with you." The last part was said very quietly

Rose smile "That's sweet Amethyst."

And for the first time Amethyst was glad Rose was blind or else Rose would have seen the vibrant purple blush coloring her cheeks.

They ate the icecream together and talked for 15 minutes until Amethyst wanted to go on the rides.

First they went on Octopus, then the Teacups, and Finally the Ferris Wheel.

The Ferris wheel slowly climbed into the sky, Rose turned her head side to side enjoying the fresh air up in the sky. She jumped a little when she heard Amethyst speak.

"Umm... Rose?"

"Yes?"

"I need to tell you something... important."

"Ok." Rose nodded her head.

"Promise not to tell ANYONE! Not even the other Gems!" Amethyst asked forcefully.

"I promise." Rose answered.

"Ok...Rose I need to tell you something...I..I.. I LOVE YOU!" Amethyst cried.

Rose was stunned.. Amethyst..Loved.. Her?

She heard a sniff next to her and she felt a drop of water hit her hand. Amethyst was crying.

As the Ferris wheel hit its peak Rose lifted Amethysts head and kissed her.

Amethyst felt soft lips on her own and she became rigid for a second then melted. She kissed back allowing Rose access to her mouth.

When they finally released there lips the ride had almost reach its end. They grasped each-others hand and climbed out of the now stopped ride and walked back to the temple both happy and content.
