Narut`os decision
Naruto twiddled his thumbs anxiously unsure what to do...
"I cant do this Sakura…"
"What are you talking about Naruto…..we have been planning this forever!?" Sakura looked around nervously at everyone in the church, all eyes were on them. Her white dress just caressing the marble floor of the church as she fidgeted waiting for Naruto`s response.
"I know, I know. It just doesn't feel right anymore…" Naruto said apologetically.
"But why now, why are you telling me this now?"
"I don't think I realized it till now…" Naruto said simply as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Realized what?"
"That I don't love you, Sakura, im sorry I love…"
"Naruto you cant do this" a voice from the back of the church sounded.
"Sasuke!" Naruto turned around to see the radiant boy with his cute blue suit and tie flaying all around his face, passing all the aisles and the shocked faces of the guests.
"So is this who you love?" Sakura said with a fist raised `I mean hes he`lla hot but really I got over his ass for you?!`
"I….dont…. know" Naruto stuttered, unsure how to react to Sasukes sudden entrance.
"What do you mean you don't know! You should know your own feelings your 26 years old!"*
Naruto felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Naruto, do what you think is right, me and your mum are here for you. We believe in you."
Naruto turned around to see his loving mother and father with tears in their eyes. His fathers head giving a reassuring nod which slightly displaced his glorious yellow hair so similar to his, but so different at the same time. His mothers kind eyes reassuring right,he thought, I must do what is right.
"Sakura I cant marry you" Naruto said without hesitation "I belong with Sasuke"
"I knew you were lying when you said you were only friend"
"Come on Sakura you don't really think that I would search for `just a friend` for 3 years? That I would risk everything even my training to try and save `a friend`?"
"I…..thought….yeah who am I kidding, my character has always been a third wheel to an obvious relationship." Sakura skipped back down the aisle and out of the church. No one turned to see her go**
"Now theres no one in our way" Sasuke said with a excited voice*** "thank god that bitch is gone and now there isn't enneying anyone can do to stop us!"
"Sasuke-kun..." Naruto whispered softly
"Minato`s son" Sasuke said adoringly
"Yes" said Naruto transfixed in Sasuke emotionless gaze
"Will you help me fly the flag of NaruSasu and see the ship sail"
"I have been waiting my whole life for you to say that…of course I will!"
In the very back row of the church Kishimoto is crying "finally, my dream has come true!"

*at the point of publication Naruto was 16 in the anime (i.e this is ten years on)
** like not even her parents, no one had a shit to give.
***well considering hes an emo, it was hard to tell that there had been any change in his voice at all but there was a definite change of tone
