Another Chance
Disclaimer: I obviously don't own Harry Potter, because if I did, Drarry would be canon. ;)
This story is currently Rated T and it may go up later on, not sure yet.
Another sleepless night. Harry was so tired but just couldn't sleep. His mind was continuously plagued with thoughts of none other than Draco Malfoy. He knew he had feelings for the boy now but would only ever admit it to himself. What would Ron and Hermione think?
When he eventually did manage to get to sleep for a couple hours, he woke up realising he had yet another wet dream about his supposed enemy. He needed to stop this, but he just couldn't. He was obsessed with Draco.

Harry had to practically drag himself down to the Great Hall for breakfast, where he proceeded to sit down and stare at the plate of food in front of him.
"Harry, are you all right?" Hermione asked with deep concern laced in her voice.
Harry didn't even bother to make eye contact with her. "Fine."
Hermione was about to say something when Ron beat her to it.
"Are you sure, mate? You certainly don't look it."
"I'm just tired that's all," Harry said in a monotone voice as he started to play with his food. He certainly didn't feel like eating today.
Both Ron and Hermione knew that Harry wasn't telling them the full truth, but remained silent and continued to eat their breakfast.

It was after their last lesson that Hermione pulled Harry to one side.
"Okay, there is definitely something bothering you," Hermione said quietly, making sure that no-one was eavesdropping.
Harry rolled his eyes. "I told you earlier that I'm fine, just tired."
"You and I both know that that's not the only reason."
"Just leave me alone!" Harry snapped angrily.
Hermione said nothing and was taken aback.
"Stop acting like you're my mother, I can take care of myself and what's bothering me is none of your business!" And with that, Harry stormed off down the corridor leaving behind a shocked Hermione.
XXX
Draco purposely pushed past Harry when he saw him walking alone down the corridor.
"Move, Potter!"
Harry looked back and glared at him to which Draco returned the glare.
"Where's Mudblood Granger and Weasel today then? Have they ditched you?"
"Don't call them that!" Harry shouted, immediately defending his best friends.
Draco took a step closer. "Why do you care? It's not like I insulted you."
"Because they're my best friends! But of course you wouldn't know what that's like, to care about someone else other than yourself."
Harry really didn't like insulting Draco anymore, but he knew that he had to keep pretending to hate him. Draco actually looked hurt at that comment which broke Harry's heart.
"Slytherin's don't depend on others. And just watch yourself, Potter," Was Draco's last words before he walked away.

Harry didn't feel like going to dinner, but was forced to go by Ron.
"You've got to eat, mate," Ron had told him.
Harry just ignored him and kept walking in silence.
As soon as he sat down at the Gryffindor table, his eyes immediately searched out Draco Malfoy. Harry knew he was making his infatuation obvious by staring straight at Draco, but he couldn't help it. He just couldn't tear his eyes away from the blond boy. Only when he saw Draco looking back at him did he quickly avert his eyes to his food.
Unbeknownst to Harry, Hermione saw the whole thing and her mind was working quickly to figure out what was going on. In the end, she could only come down to one conclusion, which was that Harry had feelings for Draco.
To be continued...
