Mary's eyes snapped open to an aging popcorn ceiling. Broad daylight swept throughout the empty room. It was completely vacant except for a baby blue vanity that was across the room. Mary got out of the sad excuse for a bed on which she laid on. Noticing rope burns on her wrists, she sighed heavily and rubbed them gently.

"Kidnapped again," she grumbled aloud to herself. In the past year she had been abducted twelve times. This would be the thirteenth. A bus horn honked loudly from outside along with the usual noise of city traffic.

"At least I'm still in the city," Mary thought, "That's a good thing."

Still thinking about what to add next. I have a general idea though...
