My hands are searching for you
My arms are outstretched towards you
I feel you on my fingertips
My tongue dances behind my lips for you
I looked in the mirror.
Why I had no idea because the mirror only reminded me of him.
My reflection could have been him.
My pale finger tips touched the reflection in the mirror.
The glass was cold and I could only stare with tears in my eyes.
This fire rising through my being
burning I'm not used to seeing you.
A chill made its way up my back.
Another image appeared behind me.
My eyes widened.
And just like that the image was gone.
When someone dies they don't leave.
They latch on to the living.

I layin a bed that was just empty now.
Hikaru was gone.
Or that's what people keep saying.
I can feel you all around me
Thickening the air I'm breathing
Holding on to what I'm feeling
Savoring this heart that's healing
I closed my eyes and felt a cold warmth on my lips and ghostly hands run up my stomach.
I hear a whisper in the breeze that flew in from the window.
"I love you" is all I can hear.
My hands float up above me
and you whisper you love me
and I begin to fade
into our secret place
I just take in the scent and feeling that seems to come everywhere with me now.
This is the scent of strawberries.
The feel of a cold but warm touch.
This is Hikaru.
I surround myself in these things and create a safe place.
A place with Hikaru.
My only happy place.
The music makes me sway
the angels singing say we are alone with you
I am alone and they are too with you
As the feeling becomes deeper I blush.
I could hear it again that same soft murmur of the wind.
"I love you Kaoru"
I part my lips slowly and whisperer "I can feel you"
I'm alive, I'm alive I can feel you all around me

I felt the cold on my face.
"Mmm Hikaru" I sway with a light blush.
"Your everywhere" I smile softly.
I open my golden eyes and just like that….
I'm alone.
I run to the bathroom and hold the knife I had rested on the sink into my hand.
I rest the cold blade against my wrist.
And so I cry
The light is white
And I see you
Tears streamed down my face as my consciousness slips away from me.
There is a bright light and I see Hikaru's face.
He holds out a hand begging for mine.
I stand and walk toward him.
Take my hand
I give it to you
Now you owe me
All I am
You said you would never leave me
I believe you
I believe
I lay my hand in his and his fingers close around it.
He pulls me into a warm embrace and we both smile.
"I love you" I whisper softly as he kissed my forehead.
I can feel you all around me

"I could feel you that whole time" I tell him with a smile.
"I'll never leave you" he promised.
I nod I believe him.
And he pulls me close.
And now I'm safe.
