I have not written a story in a while. This is my offering to make it up. I know my grammar and spelling aren't the best, neither are my stories. Starting in August that's going to change.

I should see him at least one more time. The girl with the teal hair said running down the dark ally. It's not fair how things ended… but then again when is life fair? She thought slowing walking to the cross walk. It was dark out as the neon lights awakened in the city. She rushed up to a taxi as it pulled in.

"Where to?" the cab driver asked.

"Wawanakwa arena." Gwen said slowly closing the cab door, deciding to go through with it or not.

"For that concert for Trent hart?" he asked as he started the car.

"Yeah… I knew him from a while back." She said putting her seat belt on.

The cab started moving toward the destination.

"I remember when he was on T.V. not too long ago… that girl Gwen got him back into T.D.A and he won that million dollars." He said putting on his clicker. "I'd do a lot with that money. How do you know him?"

"We hanged out a few times… but I hated that show." She said trying to avoid looking at the cab drivers face. It was only a few minutes but to Gwen it seemed like an eternity. When she arrived she paid the cab driver and continued walking towards the arena. On the street lamps that barley let you see anything in the dark world was a picture of Trent saying "Trent live in action with Nickelback, one night only!" She walked into the arena, gave her ticket, and was on the way to her seat. She was in one of the back rows alone, with no one there to sit near her. That was fine with Gwen. After the fire, that was the way it had been her whole life.

Trent had known this was going to be a different concert. Yeah, he was performing with a real band but that's not why. They started out the concert with "Pieces" but Sum 41, which got the crowd ready. He was happy when that happened. It wasn't a packed out crowd, but he saw someone in the top row. On their last song of the night "I Dare You", he looked up the whole time at the last person in the last row. And she looked back.

Gwen saw that he was looking at her, and she left. As she left, the music stopped and the place was going nuts. Just when she thought that it was over, she ran right into Trent.

"Gwen…" he said with his sad voice. The voice that had broke her heart.

"You think, after all you've done, you can walk back into my life?" she yelled walking toward him.

There was a moment of silence, followed by a kiss. A pure kiss.

"Why not…" she said walking away.

She knew this would not be the last time they'd meet. The only question left was when and what.

"Gwen!" Trent said chasing up to her. "Coffee?" he said taking out his wallet.

She didn't respond instead she just gave him a note, and kept walking.

Trent read the note with a look of horror in his eyes.

"Don't look for me" Trent said reading it "because within 24 hours I, Gwendolyn Hancock will be off the face of the earth!"

When he looked up he expected to see her walking down the cold and lonely street. He was completely alone. Just like Gwen had been all this time.

3 months later….

She didn't know who she was anymore. All she remembered was her name. Gwen. She was in a room. A small room. A comfy room. She tried to move her arms. They were bound in some sort of jacket. She tried to move towards the door. It was 4 bars going down the side of the wall. She saw Trent talking with the sheriff who found her.

"She won't be let out for a while." He said reloading his gun. "She's mentally unstable. I don't know if she'll ever get out. Not after trying to kill herself, and setting her family on fire."

"Gwen…" Trent said tears coming down his cheeks. "What happened to you?"

"Trent…." She whispered in her cell. She was finally home. Home for good.

Trent crushed the piece of paper in his hand. It was a wedding proposal.
