"Waaaaah !" Cried Mikan.
"Hey! Stop crying! You're annoying."
The girl pouted, still crying. "Bu-But! It's sooo Sad!"
"What are you talking about?" Asked the boy sited next to her.
"Romeo and Juliet!" Replied the girl.
"You're crying for this! Stupid" Scoffed the boy.
"But, they died! Waah…"
"There's nothing to cry about little girl"
The girl looked at the boy with sad eyes, "Wh-Why? Don't you feel sad for them? They can't be together…"
"They died but, it was because they wanted to be together forever. So, there's no need to be sad" Replied the boy as he brought his hand to her right cheek and pinched it.
"Re-Really? –Ow!," She wined "Don't go around hitting people for no reason, idiot!"
"Hn" He said as he smirked
"So.. They died to be together?"
"Hn."
"Ne… Natsume," Called the girl as she neared her face to his "Are we like them?"
"Why do you say that?"
"Because we can't be together because the academy forbid you to have any relationship and be happy...,"
"And?"
"And that your alice make you sick and shorten your life span...," She said as she looked at the ground, fighting the urge to not cry again.
"Don't worry little girl, we're not like them," He said before getting up.
"Huh?"
"Because I'm here at your side and nothing will stop me from loving you" He suddenly blurted out as he hides his blushing face with his bangs.
"I love you too!" She replied with a smile, she gets up and hugged him.
"I know," He said, hugging her back. After a while he released her and began to walk in the northern forest. Near the dark shadow of the trees that covered all of his body.
"Ne, Natsume?" Asked the girl "Where are you going?"
"I… Have to do something" He looked over his shoulder "Don't come near me" Don't enter the darkness…
"It's a mission, right?" She cried walking toward him.
"None of your business" He replied coldly.
"It is!" She screamed as she grabbed his arms.
"Polka, let me go and go to your room" Don't… Don't let the shadow hide you from the light.
"No" She replied as she tightened her grip.
"Polka… "
"I said no!"
"Mikan!" He finally screamed.
She turned her head to the side, silent tears falling to the ground, "I... Can't let you go... What if… You don't come back?" She looked at his bloody-like eyes that shinnied through the darkness.
"I will"
"Promise?"
"Little girl, I don't need this to come back. When I'll get back here, it's for you, not for a stupid promise" He calmly stated.
"Natsume… I love you, please don't overuse your alice," She said as she kissed his cheek. "Please, come home safely."
"Don't worry," He said before kissing her fully in the lips.
"I'll always be by your side, even after death"
