Sam POV
I woke up to the horrid ring of my alarm. The sudden blare caused me to forget anything that happened in the last eight hours, but knowing me, my dream was probably about some sort of food.
Sadly I got up and took my morning shower and began to get dressed into my normal clothes, my long shorts and a long t-shirt with a shorter one on top. I grabbed a head band and threw it into my yet to be tamed hair and to grab a snack before I started for Carly's.
As I got to Carly's apartment I walked through the door, only to see Carly and Freddie discussing something near the couch. When they saw me enter the door the immediately stopped talking and gave me a questioning look.
"What's up?" I asked curiously, subconsciously knowing they were talking about me.
"Oh, nothing" Carly said quite quickly heading towards the door as I gave Freddie a look.
He shrugged and began to sit on the couch once again. I was about to join him but I heard Carly yell, "Come on, guys, we don't want to be late for school. Spencer's giving us a ride."
We followed Carly downstairs but by the time we reached the bottom she was already seated in the car. Me and Freddie were walking at the same pace so I decided to speed up and get in the car before him so he couldn't sit next to Carly, leaving him to myself.
Okay, yeah this sounds weird, I, Sam Puckett, want to sit next to Freddie Benson. Well, its true. I have had this tiny, well, kind of tiny, crush on him for quite a while now. But the whole, fist kiss thing really triggered my emotions, now they won't go back in whack.
Soon after we all settled in the car I began getting freakishly weird fluttering feelings in my stomach because I could feel him legs brushing off of mine. I could have sworn it was the same feeling I get when I start becoming hungry, but this, this is just the feeling of pure delight. Though, no way in heck would I let anyone know that!
I waited at my locker for the bell to ring. One more class and the weekend started. I looked at the clock on the wall and realized I had another ten minutes or so to wait which bummed me out until I realized who was walking over to me, Freddie.
"Hey." He said as he was approaching me.
"Sup?" I said in my usual casual tone.
"Nothing, though, Carly just told me she couldn't make it to Groovy Smoothies this afternoon, so its just going to be me and you." His tone was not as happy as I could have hoped. Sometimes it makes me really unhappy that he is so in love with Carly. That everything is bad if Carly is not there, and that I can never live up to her. I know Carly is my best friend and all and I love her like a sister but sometimes I just wish the guy I liked didn't always like her more than me. I always feel like the... friend, always the second best.
I simply nodded. Freddie will soon find out that my way of showing my feelings is through my physical violence, and he will know that he can have a good time with me. That is what I will show him today at Groovy Smoothies. Just you wait.
