Chapter one
It was a nice and sunny day, as most days often are in the land of Oooo. Finn was sitting in his bed staring at the ceiling. Pondering his thoughts of what occurred just the day before. His break up with flame princess is official. No less, became the new ruler of fire kingdom. An agonizing though crept back into his mind.
"too young" said Finn.
A thought he was all too familiar with. What did this mean? That he was unable to be loved despite his best efforts? To the rest of the world, he was "Finn the Human boy?" Not taken seriously by anyone, forever to be Princess Bubble Gum little errand boy?
"No, I have had enough…" Finn spouted angrily.
Then the PB phone rang, catching him off guard.
"Great what does she want? Another mess for me to clean up? Glob knows her banana guards can't do anything." Said Finn.
Finn grabs the phone, The cries of candy people and panic followed over the other end of the call.
"Finn! I need your help; the candy kingdom is in danger! There is an elemental beast from the Fire Kingdom on its way here. From what FP said, it rejected the new ruler as being a loyal beast in service to the Flame King and was driven out." Said PB.
Finn heart drew colder.
"and you would like for me to slay this beast?" Finn asked.
There was a pause; PB then retaliated with a sharp,
"NO! I would never wish for you to harm any creature, only containment, I want you to try to reason with it. While I calculate a solution of a fire proof leash- hello? Finn? Are you there? Said PB.
There was a pause flowed by a door slam. Finn had already left; he was determined to get even. By the time Finn had intercepted the beast, it was blazeing a trial through a forest. The beast stopped just short of the figure standing in its way. It was Finn with his red sword holstered on his back.
"heheheha…. Does the human wish to stop me?" it barked. "So what does the star champion the Candy Kingdom wish to stop me with? What is your means of accomplishing this feat? Get down on your knees and beg for a diplomatic solution more like."
Then he paused as an take of amusement crept across its face.
"You know I have heard about what you did. After you betray Fire Princess, she took pity on you. She insists you be welcome into the fire kingdom. So what now? be her little pet too would be fitting for a pathetic little boy."
Finn was quite, standing there quietly. He could not listen anymore of the beast ranting's. He snapped. Finn griped the hilt of his sword and lunged forward, slashing the beast noes. It screeched in pain and lashed out in a rage, catching one of its claws on his face. It left a searing bloody reminder of his convictions. Finn being quick and nimble was all too familiar with this sort of situation, quickly side the beast. Only this time he wasn't taking prisoners. He struck a lethal blow the its neck, Lopping off its head. The spews of the elemental's lava fluids followed. The body fell to the ground as did the head. He looked on in silence. Not so much as a twitch came from the lifeless corpse. Finn turned around and left the carnage that just ensued. He carried with him a piece of the burning beast in his pouch.
No longer was he to be disregarded any longer. If the land of Oooo wasn't going to look at him as an equal, they will look to him in fear. They will know the pain they caused him.
